I always enjoyed exercising but
for some reason I was stuck
in a vicious circle where
eating and drinking were my
way of finding comfort and
compensate my frustrations.
After 6 months in the gym I
was losing my motivation as I
could see no results from my
boring exercise routine.
I was then introduced to Pete and
started to train with him.
My life has completely
changed since then! Pete
advised me to make small but
crucial changes to my diet and
exercising was no longer
boring. I started then to see
results . I felt good about myself again like I haven't felt in ages.
Since I met Pete I have lost 3 stone! I learned how to love myself again and
became a much happier and confident person!
Peter Kirkham has been my personal trainer for nearly eighteen months and I am delighted with the results. He originally suggested personal training with weights to improve my health, fitness and appearance and I was a bit skeptical. However, all these have been achieved with the added bonus of a marked improvement in my confidence and mood. I recently increased to two sessions weekly and continue to improve. At my age (61) I never expected to be able to lose over a stone in weight, run three kilometres, lift more than my own body weight or do a handstand – all of which I can now do!
Pete radiates strength, confidence, intelligence and maturity. He has a great sense of humour and so training with him is a laugh and he never makes me feel self-conscious or useless. He is passionate about health and fitness and this is infectious. Most importantly, he makes me feel safe and confident to go out of my comfort zone. I’ve no complaints!
Wow - after a year with Pete Kirkham as PT I have lost weight, dropped my cholesterol, developed muscles I did not know I had and greatly improved my core stability, posture and balance (and haven’t died!) All these achievements have been orchestrated by Pete in a tough but enjoyable, continuously varying programme. Pete is passionate about fitness, health and nutrition and with his intelligence and sense of humour our discussions range far and wide. The changes in health and fitness have totally exceeded my expectations and I know would not have been possible without his regular guidance and drive. I am looking forward to what more we can achieve.
